Managing chain members' licences

This option is available to: Organization administrators only.

 
You can transfer licences to your chain members from Licence Management. For more information about what chains are and how to set up a chain, see Chain Management.

 
To access licence management:

1.Click Manage organization on the left.

2.Click the Licence management link.

 
Transferring licences to your members

 
You can transfer licences to your members one course at a time. To transfer licences to your members:

1.From Licence management click Transfer in the Transferred column.

2.Enter the number of licences to be transferred to each of your members.

3.Tick the members to transfer to.

4.Click Next.

5.You will now see the confirmation page. Check that the numbers are correct, and then click Cancel or Transfer.

6.You will now see a summary, which can be printed for reference if required.

7.When you are finished, click Done.

 
Your licences will have moved to your member's account for them to use with their students.

 
Reclaiming licences

 
You might need to reclaim licences if:

You have transferred too many licences by mistake.

A chain member has not used the licences you gave them.

 
You can take back any licences you transferred to your chain member. To do this, follow the steps below.

1.From Licence management click the number in the Transferred column.

2.Enter the number of licences to transfer back to your account.

3.Click the Revoke button.

4.You will now see the confirmation page. Check that the numbers are correct and then click Cancel or Revoke.

5.You will now see a summary, which can be printed for reference if required.

6.When you are finished, click Done.

Note:
You can only take back licences that are available in the organization. If licences have been allocated to students you cannot reclaim them.
