Where can I find my access code? What does it look like?
Your access code might be on a card, in a book or in an email. It has 12 numbers and looks like this: 1234-5678-9012.

My access code doesn't work, why not?
You might have registered and used your access code already.
•If you see the error message ‘This access code has already been used’, it means that the access code has already been registered.
•If you see the error message ‘The code you have entered is incorrect. Please try again’, it means that the access code was entered incorrectly. Check the number carefully and try again.
Please note: access codes are single-use, so you will not be able to register a code twice.
•If you bought your book second-hand or borrowed it from a library, unfortunately, you will not have access to online materials using this code.
•If you bought your book under the impression it was new, we recommend that you return it to the shop you bought it from for a refund or exchange.
Access codes are available separately for some courses. Please ask your teacher where you can get an access code for your course, or contact Customer Support at eltsupport@oup.com.

Why I am not able to use my access code for Effective Academic Writing on the platform?
How do I join my teacher’s class?
You will need a student joining code from your teacher/school to join their online class. Please ask your teacher for the student joining code.
If you have the student joining code, see Joining a class for more information.
|
Do I have to join my teacher’s class?
No, you can use the course for self-study. If you use this option, your teacher won’t be able to see your marks or progress.
If you start completing exercises as self-study, and then you join a class later, the work you had done independently will not be visible to the teacher and you will need to start the course again.
